Easter Morning, South Africa Style

On Easter morning we went to brunch at a local restaurant situated on a small man made lake.  The restaurant, the Blue Crane, is named for the national bird of South Africa and there were many there to represent. It was a great bird watching site, and for those that don't know, Paul and I got into birding when we were living in Uganda and so it's exciting to be back in a country with such a variety of birds again.

Piper enjoyed seeing the birds, we will make a little birder out of her while we are here! After breakfast we walked over to the bird blind to see what other birds were visiting the little lake.
