Last month we spent a weekend in Mabalingwe Game Reserve with our friends the Powers. It is a great little place about an hour north of Pretoria. We rented a cabin in the reserve, complete with a fire pit and visiting warthogs. We spent the afternoons in the comfort of our own vehicles driving around the reserve looking for animals and birds. We mostly saw birds, which was fine with us!
