I had the pleasure of photographing the beautiful T. Family again! They are finishing up their time here in South Africa and are heading back to the US. To make some final memories, Eric, Nicki, Samira, and their nanny, Sophie met me at the South African Union Buildings in Pretoria.
The Union Buildings form the official seat of the South African Government and house the office of the Presidency (think Congress and White House). The buildings were built between 1910-1913 and are surrounded by large gardens which are open to the public. The main attraction in the gardens is a 9 meter tall statue of Nelson Mandela, which was unveiled in Dec 2012 after his passing.
It was a lot of fun doing this photo shoot at the Union Buildings and getting to capture this family amidst the crowds of South Africans visiting this significant site. I hope you enjoy the pictures!
